What GSM means

GSM means grams per square metre. It helps compare fabric weight, but it does not alone determine quality, drape, warmth, recovery or durability.

All ranges are practical starting points, not guaranteed final specifications. Final composition, GSM or leather thickness, colour, finish, availability, minimums and lead time are confirmed during sampling and quotation.

Which fabric should I choose for a custom T-shirt, hoodie or tracksuit?

Start with the intended use, climate, fit and target feel. Give the manufacturer your preferred fibre composition, knit or weave and GSM, plus a reference if available. Cotton jersey, fleece and French terry describe different choices; ask IRHA APPARELS to review availability and sample suitability for the actual garment before approving bulk material.

Can I source moisture-management, stretch, mesh or compression fabrics?

Specify the sport, coverage, stretch direction, recovery, opacity and desired performance, along with composition and GSM. Mesh, stretch knits and compression fabrics are not interchangeable. Request sample assessment and any needed test scope before making performance claims; a generic fabric description is not laboratory evidence.

How do I confirm colour, shrinkage, care labels and responsible-material claims?

Agree colour references, sample approval, measurement tolerances and applicable shrinkage or wash testing. Care and fibre labels should match the selected material and destination requirements. Recycled or organic content and certification claims need applicable documentation; IRHA APPARELS does not treat a material request as proof that every option is available or certified.
